Line Up

The Damned and Dirty are one of the most exciting and innovative bands in the blues world today. Their first three albums have all won the award for “Best Blues Album” (presented by the Dutch Blues Foundation) three years in a row.  Yes, this music comes out of Europe, but its inspiration comes from the heart of blues territory – it’s always interesting hearing blues coming from places other than where it was born. Interesting too to hear any variation the tyranny of distance offers up!

Blue Moon

Blue Moon are a 4 piece Blues act based in South Shropshire. The band formed in 2015 after Slide Guitarist and Vocalist Jack Brett was looking to put a house band together for the successful ‘South Shropshire Blues Club’. With regular gigs in and around Shropshire, the band is now spreading its wings to audiences up and down the UK with an energetic and passionate live show. If you love The Blues you’ll love Blue Moon!

Big Wolf Band

Big Wolf is a rock blues powerhouse, with a distinctive guitar style and an array of well self penned tracks, backed by the talents of Mick Jeynes(bass), Tim Jones(drums) and Paul Brambani(keys) the band delivers every time. Energy filled sets, Spontaneous improvised breaks, dynamic highs and lows, bringing a song down to a whisper before exploding with energy and power that capture the true meaning of live music!

Sons of the Delta

Formed by two of the top bluesmen in the SouthWest UK, Mark Cole and Rick Edwards. They play a no-nonsense blend of electric and acoustic blues which includes traditional blues plus new originals. Their music also features occasional sidesteps into other American roots styles such as gospel, hillbilly, bluegrass, cajun and tex mex.

Sweet Talk

A 4 piece Blues band located in the beautiful countryside of Herefordshire and Shropshire. The main goal of the band is to bridge the gap between the youth of today, and the Blues, these passionate musicians bring a youthful energy and enthusiasm to the timeless genre of the Blues, endeavouring to produce an electric feeling during their performances whilst moulding a unique style into their music.

FAQs

Can I Bring my Dog?

Yes! Well behaved four legged friends are more than welcome to join in the fun – we trust you to keep them on leads and clean up after them.

Will there be somewhere to sit?

Seating will be limited, so please bring blankets, fold up chairs, deck chairs etc. so you can pick a spot and get comfy!

Will there be food & Drink?

Yep! We’ll have three fantastic food vendors on hand to keep you fed all day! We’ll have the usual selection of Pizza (By The Fabulous Cob Cob Oven Company) and Burgers, Veggie burgers, Sausages & Chips to boot. Plus some Sweet Crepes from Le Flip Creperie. On the morning after we’ll have bacon butties and sausage sarnies + tea and coffee. We’ll also have a fully stocked bar, serving alcoholics drinks as well as soft drinks and hot drinks.

What happens if it rains?
Wet weather provisions are in place. A bit of light rain won’t scare us – there will be plenty of tent-age and cover, and we recommend bringing an umbrella or rain mac too. But, if the weather is forecast to be a truly miserable day, the whole event will be moved inside a barn on the festival site.

I have a camper van – can I still camp?

Yes! Camper vans and Caravans are welcome.

Do you need any Volunteers?

On the day we’re really relying on a small team of volunteers to help us out – we could do with a couple more helpers on the evening, just to man the gates for an hour or so. Please get in touch if you’re happy to help. Also – We would also love some help on the Sunday morning clear up/breakdown. We’ll be starting the clear up after breakfast at around 10am, any extra pairs of hands would be greatly appreciated.
